Northern Hills Academy welcomes students with many significant physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. The health needs of these students are provided for in cooperation with the child’s physicians and therapists, allowing families to feel confident that their child may participate fully in the school program.

The Health Office at Northern Hills Academy provides all state mandated screenings as appropriate for each child’s age and special needs. Our certified school nurse prepares individual health care plans to reflect specific approaches to meet each student’s unique requirements. The health office is part of the team effort to ensure that children are nurtured physically and emotionally to better meet their educational goals.

Our families are encouraged to call or visit the health office at NHA for support, information, or discussion of areas of concern. The health, comfort, and safety of each child are our priority.
