Water Therapy Activities

 Swimming Program at SCESC’s Northern Hills Academy in Sparta, NJStudents and staff members travel to the Sussex County YMCA, once monthly, where they participate in swimming and water activities.

Therapies are an integral aspect of the multi-discipline approach used at NHA. Communication among therapists, staff, and families is an important component of our successful program. We welcome you to schedule an appointment to participate in a therapy session with your child.

Each child receives related services in accordance with his/her individual Educational Program. Services provided to children and/or families include, but are not limited to, individual and small group special education instruction, adaptive physical education, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing services, wheelchair/equipment clinics, orthotic clinics, and/or coordinated services with The Commission for the Blind.
